Men and Boys Cake Baking Contest Fellowship
A men and boys Gold Medal cake baking contest will kick-off the winter semester of Sunday Night Discipleship Groups at Groveton with an all church fellowship on Sunday, February 14, 2010. The festivities begin at 6:30 PM following the first session of the new adult classes. We'll celebrate Valentine's Day by invoking the Winter Olympic spirit by awarding Gold Medals for taste, best looking, and most creative.
1. Cakes may be home-made or semi-homemade. Prepare your cakes at home. Store bought cakes will be consumed but will not be considered for judging!
2. Completed cake entries must arrive in the first floor kitchen by 5:00 PM on Sunday, Feb. 14 for judging.
3. Entries can be joint efforts. (i.e father and sons, brothers, etc.)
4. Absolutely no women may enter the contest. However a little coaching to husbands, dads, or sons is encouraged!
